RESEARCHING RACING
I was on this site looking for somewhere to place some bets and came to a page with a list of sports I could click on to place bets. At the bottom of the page I found a link to something called “Jai-alai.” Since I’m pretty much brand new to the world of sport betting, I had no idea what this term was or if it’s even a sport. Considering that this particular page seemed to be geared toward sports involving animals, I could only assume it was a kind of sport involving the participation of some type of animal. Maybe I'll try to get some event tickets for it. But I couldn’t imagine what other animal is raced besides horses and dogs. When I clicked on the link, a pop-up screen appeared where apparently there was a list of racetracks. Some of the tracks were already closed, and some had codes underneath the status, such as “MTP 3” or “MTP 10.” I haven’t the slightest idea what in heaven’s name I’m looking at on this site. I’ll go out on a limb here and assume I have only scratched the surface of what I need to learn to about sports betting in order to ever come close to placing a rational bet.
