POETRY CLASS
I think I found someone I could really start liking. I'd only really saw him as a friend before, but he's turning out to be a really sweet guy. We decided to meet after my poetry class and have a picnic on the grass. We were planning for the typical Seattle weather, but it was a really beautiful day. I felt a little embarrassed that I had to use my insulin syringe right in front of him but he really didn't even care at all. In fact, he barely seemed to notice the syringe. What I did notice is that, when I talked, he would pay very close attention. I don't know. I sensed something different. Is it possible he has feelings for me? I mean, we've hung out several times before but I always saw him as more of a buddy. Maybe I shouldn't write him off so quickly. We always laugh when we're around each other. He even took the trouble of making everything for the picnic. Another thing is, he didn't just run out and buy the stuff. He made everything from scratch. I notice details like that. Everything I've told him about what foods I like and what I like to drink was in that picnic basket. He remembered everything! There was just something magical about it all. I think I saw him in a different light today. Something tells me this won't be our last picnic like this!
