MY EDUCATION

I graduated from college back in 1999 and immediately got an entry level job with one of those relocation companies, which is a company that helps businesses relocate to other cities, neighborhoods, offices, states, whatever they need.  Now I’m an account manager, live in a condo in Wrigleyville (which isn’t cheap let me tell you), and make more than enough money that I don’t have to worry about anything; Awesome, right?  Well, what if I told you I had average grades and just barely passed more than a few classes?  I didn’t even have a major in college.  I just took all the general requirements and got my diploma.  I was even working at a grocery store for a few weeks before getting in with my current job, which was also the first job I ever actually had.  Before that, I proudly sponged off my parents’ money for years and years, but that gravy train had to crash eventually.  Luckily, it was the midst of the dot com boom.  With so many youngsters getting signed onto internet companies and starting with higher than average salaries, other types of jobs opened up for people willing to take initiative and show they want to learn on the job.  That’s me.
