When we were in junior high and high school, my friends, Jared, Eric, Evan, John and I used to go visit Jared’s grandparents in San Diego during our spring breaks. Jared’s grandfather used to be a personal injury attorney in San Diego, but now he is retired. Now him and Jared’s grandmother just play golf and enjoy life. They really love having us out there too. We all went one year in junior high, and they had such a good time with us, that they buy us our tickets every year to go back out there and visit them. We cannot really complain about a free trip every spring break, but really, we love going out there to visit them. The weather is always gorgeous. We play some golf, relax by their pool and just enjoy some time away. Jared’s grandmother is also an incredible cook, and she stuffs us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I do not think that I ever eat as much as when I am out there visiting them. It has been a while since I have been out there, and I really do miss it. San Diego really is just such a great place to be.
