GREAT USE OF ALLITERATION

One morning I was strolling down the streets, just wandering and taking in all the fresh air and the sights of that beautiful day. While I was not very far away from my own home, a sign caught my attention from across the street. It was big and red, and if that was not what caught my attention, the actual name of the store sure did. It was called, “All Amazing and Astounding Antique Furniture in Chicago.” The only thing that I could think of then was ‘great use of alliteration!’ Wow. I had no choice but to cross the street and walk in, at least look around a bit. When I entered the store I was really amazed. The furniture there was a sight to behold, everything was beautiful and captivating. Thoughts swirling around my head were ‘my husband is going to be so upset with me; he is not going to like it.’ I mean, obviously, which husband would enjoy their wife spending literally thousands of dollars just to obtain antique artifacts and articles? That was exactly what I did, and in the end of our argument I convinced my husband that he too has things to gain out of my purchases. After all, doesn’t everyone need some place to eat and places to sit? My motto has always been, “out with the old and in with the new.”
