My friend from New York has struck again.  This time she has emailed me with a whole new idea about how she can get her hair to do exactly what she wants it to.  She is going to drive all of us nuts with this thing she has about her hair.  We can only wish that we had hair like hers – long, wavy, shiny black hair.  And it’s nice and thick too.  She wears it a little below her shoulders, and we can’t see why she thinks something is wrong with it.  This email says she is going in for a series of herbal treatments that are supposed to get her hair to do exactly what she wants it to do.  We have all heard that one before.  I for one, along with her other friends from college, are just at a total loss.  We don’t know how to convince her that there’s nothing wrong with her hair.  She has nice hair, and plenty of it.  But she still frets that it could be shinier, more manageable and maybe grows a little longer.  I don’t know what she is doing now with her hair, but hope she’s doing something that makes it look nice.
