My daughter is going on a trip by herself to visit a friend who she met in college and who lives in California.  I must tell you I was really nervous about her going across country by herself.  But I was happy when she said she would fly instead of drive.  (I think she told me she was driving so that I would be more comfortable when she “decided” to fly instead.)  She and her friend are planning on doing a bit of traveling through California for a couple of weeks.  They are both excited to have graduated college. Since her friend had lasik in Los Angeles about a year before she graduated college, and seems to be doing fine with it, I am sure they will have a fabulous time since neither one of them will have to worry about keeping up with eyeglasses.  They will look great when they go to the beaches wearing their skimpy little bathing suits and sunglasses instead of eyeglasses.  I think they are going with a group of friends to Yosemite National Park.  I am very glad to know that her friend’s parents go there often and will be along for the trip.
